Weather events over the last 6 weeks are now starting to cause problems with supplies of most vegetable lines. Broccoli and Cauliflower supply has been sporadic. Beans and Corn are in short supply
Carrots, Brussels Sprouts and Pumpkins are plentiful, as are most lines of Potatoes and Onions.
The Apple crop is looking very good this year with quality and quantiities looking exceptional. Pear supplies are also good. Navel Oranges will start shortly, Mandarins have now started.
Grape supplies are down on previous years and so are not as cheap as usual - we need to be careful what we buy with the grapes as quality is very variable.
We expect prices to stabilse again in the next few weeks as growing conditions have improved recently.
